Collaboration Space & Classroom Rumi is one of the most widely read mystical poets across the world today. However, not many know that in addition to being a mystical poet, he and his followers founded a Muslim Sufi brotherhood called the Mevlevi Sufi Order. Join us on Thursday nights for recitations of litanies from the Mevlevi Sufi order as well as readings and discussions from Rumi’s most famous poem, the Mathnawi. Everyone from all faith traditions and backgrounds are welcome. This group is guided by Kell Shamsaldiin Williams who has practiced Islam and Mevlevi Sufism for almost 20 years. He holds degrees in Islamic Studies and has studied under various Muslim scholars across the United States.
