Teen: Speech Bubble Society

Manhattan Public Library

Are you a reader of comics, manga, or webtoons? This is the place for you! Join the library for our monthly Speech Bubble Society, a dedicated space for fans of visual storytelling. Whether you’re scrolling through the latest Webtoons on your phone or collecting physical volumes of manhwa, manhua, and manga, we want to hear what you’re obsessed with. From the infamous "Cold Dukes of the North" to the world’s greatest Dungeon Hunters, we want to hear about your favorites. This isn’t a formal book club, it’s a casual hangout to share your latest reads, find your next favorite series, and meet other fans who "get it." We welcome everything from classic Western comics and graphic novels to the newest indie gems. Snacks will be provided. For grades 6th-12th.
